My journey naturally didn't stop at formal education. I've had the privilege of working for and collaborating with esteemed institutions such as the British Council, in several countries, and have presented at local and national conferences, as well as international events. Through these experiences, I've honed my skills in various educational settings, from traditional classrooms to online platforms.
Collaborations with:
In addition to teaching, I've held various roles that now inform the training, mentoring and educational consultancy services that I offer. Among others, I've served as a Testing and Teaching Coordinator, Branch Coordinator, Materials and Syllabus Developer, and have been instrumental in supporting educational institutions in transitioning to online services, including fully-online diagnostic assessments. This diverse experience makes me a versatile consultant in the educational field.
What I feel makes everything even more tangible, however, is my ongoing learning quest. As a language learner myself - currently studying Dutch - I understand the challenges and joys of mastering a new language and the essential tools teachers and institutions need to employ in order to offer the best kind of support. All these aspects generate a lot of empathy which fuels my drive to create engaging, personalized educational experiences for each of my clients.
While I love my work immensely, I do other stuff too! I'm a certified nerd and a goofball at heart. Whether it's doodling, gaming, embarking on D&D adventures, or taking (very long) nature walks, I love to make space for my creativity and passions.
I also love stories of all sorts, so it has been a pleasure to run storytime sessions for the British Council too.
